Ben Affleck is just one of the many stars who is being impacted by the horror of the Palisades fire raging through California. The actor, who finalized his divorce from Jennifer Lopez this week, went running to his other ex-wife, Jennifer Garner when he was forced to evacuate his home. Photos of Affleck looking distraught as he bolted to Garner’s home were later revealed, and fans had plenty to say about the situation.
According to Page Six, Ben Affleck evacuated his Brentwood home amid the danger of the wildfire on Tuesday night. The actor then raced to Jennifer Garner’s home, where his ex-wife and their three children, Violet, Fin, and Samuel, live.
Affleck was photographed wearing a white button-up shirt and a blue coat as he sat in his car to head to Garner’s home. He wore a worried expression on his face as smoke enveloped the sky. Although Garner and the kids don’t live far from Affleck, they haven’t yet been asked to evacuate. It’s possible that Ben went to stay with his family for the time being.
Of course, fans couldn’t help but weigh in on the situation.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner first met on the set of Pearl Harbor in 2000. However, it wasn’t until they co-starred together in the film Daredevil that they began a close relationship (via People). The couple went public with their romance in October 2004. They wed the following year in Turks and Caicos. Sadly, after a decade of marriage, the pair announced their split in 2015.
After their decision to split, Garner called Affleck the love of her life. She also supported him through his alcohol abuse issues and rehab stay. Once Affleck emerged from rehab, the pair officially filed for divorce. The actor reunited with former fiance, Jennifer Lopez in 2021. They tied the knot in 2022 and were married for two years before calling it quits in late 2024.
Meanwhile, Ben Affleck is far from the only celebrity in danger of losing their home. Other stars such as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are facing evacuation orders as well. Actors James Woods and Eugene Levy have also confirmed that they’ve evacuated their homes due to the fire. Sadly, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt’s home was completely destroyed in the disaster.
It appears that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are sticking together during this tense time. If Garner is forced to evacuate her home, the pair will likely stay somewhere together with their children until the fire gets under control.
