Remnant 2 has several builds that will take you through the main game, such as the Bleed build. They are great at keeping you alive or fighting off waves of enemies. But when you get to the Apocalypse difficulty, the game gets significantly harder. Enemies deal a lot more damage and you will struggle to survive. It is possible to succeed if you have the proper builds, but it requires some good configuration. Even if you have a good build, knowing how to use it is important. Thus, here is our guide on the best Apocalypse difficulty build in Remnant 2.

The best Apocalypse difficulty build for Remnant 2 is a tank build. You take damage and heal back your health as you fight against bosses. To start putting the build together, it helps if you are using the Alchemist class. This should give you the Spirited Prime Perk. You also want the following equipped:

  • Liquid Courage
  • Panacea
  • Gold to Lead
  • Experimentalist

Make sure you have the Vial: Stone Mist skill equipped since you need Stoneskin to absorb damage. Your secondary archetype should be Medic, as you need reliable heals. Give yourself the Healing Shield skill for the best mid-combat healing. For equipment, get the Leto Mark II Helmet, Armor, Gloves, and Leggings if you can. If they are unavailable to you, get the next best defensive equipment.

For your Relic, get a Shielded Heart Relic that has the following Runes attached:

  • Mythic Damage Reduction
  • Mythic Grey Health Rate
  • Mythic Health

The perfect weapon for the Apocalypse build is the Merciless Long Gun. Forge it up to get the +10 bonus. Merciless naturally comes with the Bloodline weapon mod, but you also want Bandit +10 equipped. Equip the Energy Diverter amulet along with the four recommended Rings:

  • Rerouting Cable
  • Generating Band
  • Bright Steel Ring
  • Probability Cord

If you haven’t been using the Alchemist archetype, now is a good time to learn. With this build, you will be able to fight against several enemies and bosses, healing as you do so. You still need the basic fundamentals of combat; you aren’t a pure bullet sponge that doesn’t need to dodge. But this is one of, if not the, best Apocalypse difficulty builds in Remnant 2. Once you finalize the components of the build, you can take on even the toughest bosses in Remnant 2 without much trouble. Don’t forget to use items if you need some support or haven’t fully completed your build yet.
