Best Build for Eugen in Granblue Fantasy Relink

One shot, one kill.

This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

With the right build, Eugen can be a one-man arsenal in Granblue Fantasy: Relink. With devastating long-range shots, explosive grenades, and skills that can blast enemies to oblivion, he’s the best sniper in the game. However, getting the hang of him can take a while. Since he has many abilities under his belt, you need to master the rotation and position before taking enemies head-on. But, if you have the time and patience, you’ll be blasting everyone away.

How To Build Eugen in Granblue Fantasy: Relink

Before you build Eugen, you must be extremely sure about using him as a character. Not because he’s terrible or anything, but because he excels more at range than in an up-close position. Since he takes a sniper stance, you must be in the right spot before firing toward an enemy. However, if you dare learn the ropes with this mercenary, you’re in for a treat.

We’ll focus on making Eugen a killing machine with this build for Granblue Fantasy: Relink, so we can’t go wrong with the AK-4A, which provides a flat attack bonus. As you level it up, you’ll unlock more bonuses, allowing you to increase Eugen’s damage potential. But, even if you head to the true endgame with this gun, you won’t face many issues.

Skills and Sigils

For skills, we wanted to add a few that debuff foes, deal damage, and let Eugen escape to enter his sniper stance. For that, these are the ones we recommend:

  • Intercept
  • Armor-Piercing Round
  • Venom Grenade
  • Detonator

It might seem like an odd choice of skills, but after trying them out, we noticed they work perfectly. Before using skills, you should switch between sniper mode and normal mode. Ideally, you’ll want to be in sniper mode at all times. This is what provides most of Eugen’s damage output. If you’re comfortable with it, begin the fight with Venom Grenade. This debuffs the enemy and poisons them. After that, use Intercept to back off, do damage, and trigger sniper mode to start shooting. Your grenades and Armor-Piercing Round should be saved for packs of enemies, and use Detonator when you’re far away and want to keep using sniper mode.

For sigils, adding a few that reduce his cooldowns and let him attack faster with charged attacks, which are the ones in sniper mode, and stun the enemy a bit. For that, watch out for the following:

  • Attack Power
  • Stun Power
  • Cascade
  • Quick Cooldown
  • Quick Charge
  • Concentrated Fire
  • Charged Attack

If you have enough slots, you can add a few sigils that offer Eugen some sustainability, but ultimately, you don’t need them for this build in Granblue Fantasy: Relink.

Overall, Eugen is a great character, but it might not be the cup of tea for many. He has a rather static playstyle that makes up with high damage potential. If you want to try a ranged character, though, he is a great starting point. But, if you’re doing endgame quests, try to bring a healer or tank to keep this mercenary out of danger and let him focus on blasting enemies.
