Deathstroke might be the superior assassin but don’t tell Deadshot that. As a firearm specialist, Deadshot brings much-needed discipline and training to Rocksteady‘s ragtag squad. His jetpack is a fast, flexible mobility power that ensures he’ll always have the upper-ground advantage against his foes. Combine that with a sniper rifle and a variety of Talents that buff his DPS and critical hits, and you have the best long-range character in the game. Let your partners take aggro while you dismantle your enemies from afar. Here’s the best Deadshot build in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

Deadshot Playstyle

No member of Task Force X is better equipped to kill from a distance than Deadshot. Putting a strong close- or mid-range weapon in the secondary slot is a good idea in case things need to get personal. That said, running a sniper rifle as your primary weapon is your best bet with a build like this one. Stay on rooftops or wherever else will give you the best sightlines, allowing you to control as much of the battlefield at once as possible. You’ll have an easier time hitting weak spots than your teammates, so focus your fire on tanks, turrets, and special enemy variants to get the most value from your build.

Talents

The best Deadshot build in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League gives you high DPS potential as long as you’re hitting your shots. It also helps you stay airborne, maximizing the value of your jetpack for traversal and lining up tricky shots. Though you can play Deadshot on the frontline like King Shark or Boomerang, farther is better. Here are all the Talents you’ll need:

  • Sniper (Tools of the Trade)
  • Hollow Point (Tools of the Trade)
  • Sniper Rifle Specialist (Tools of the Trade)
  • Ultra Impact (Tools of the Trade)
  • Eye of the Sniper (Tools of the Trade)
  • Shield Sapper (Tools of the Trade)
  • Every Bullet Counts (Tools of the Trade)
  • Cover Shooter (Tools of the Trade)
  • I Never Miss (Tools of the Trade)
  • Perfect Form (Locked and Loaded)
  • Suicide Strike (Locked and Loaded)
  • Grim Reaper (Locked and Loaded)
  • Counterattack (Locked and Loaded)
  • Flight Suit (Locked and Loaded)
  • Power Through (Locked and Loaded)
  • Dirty Bomb (Locked and Loaded)
  • Runner’s High (Locked and Loaded)
  • Deadly Assassin (Locked and Loaded)
  • Air Reach (Fly Like A Bullet)
  • Refuel (Fly Like A Bullet)
  • Afterburning (Fly Like A Bullet)
  • Top Up (Fly Like A Bullet)
  • Hot Shot (Fly Like A Bullet)
  • Offset (Fly Like A Bullet)
  • Pinnacle Hits (Fly Like A Bullet)
  • Hang Time (Fly Like A Bullet)
  • Squad Ultimate (Fly Like A Bullet)
  • Ultimate Power Conservation (Fly Like A Bullet)

With these Talents, it’s possible to hang in the air sniping down on those below without even touching the ground. Aerial superiority is a powerful asset, since you’ll have few nearby enemies to worry about other than helicopters. That makes maintaining your Shield easy, which in turn plays into several of your other Talents.

Weapons and Gear

Getting a good sniper rifle should be your priority for the best Deadshot build in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Black Mask’s Bulletstorm will serve you well thanks to its excellent DPS. Its unique power, Black Mask’s Mark, tags enemies when you shoot them, and after tagging your third enemy within 9 seconds, all tagged enemies explode and Burn nearby foes. If you can’t one-shot an enemy, you’ll at least be able to set it on fire, making it useful for crowd control. Deadshot sometimes struggles with AoE consistency, and Black Mask’s Bulletstorm covers that weakness.

Although this build is heavy with sniper Talents, it’s important to have a fallback weapon for close-quarters combat. One of the best options is Bizarro’s Undeath Ray. This Notorious Pistol inflicts enemies with Craze when you score a critical hit. It also deals additional damage to Crazed enemies, with bonuses based on how long they’ve been Afflicted. Some of the Legendary Pistols also pull their weight in this build. Hopefully, build variety will only improve when Joker joins the game in Season One.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
