In Starfield‘s vast expanse, you will come across a plethora of invaluable resources. One of the many resources is Plutonium. In Starfield, Plutonium is an Exotic Tier 3 Resource, which makes it very rare and hard to farm. While exploring all the planet systems and jumping from planet to planet, and from moon to moon, you have probably stumbled on some of the locations where this material can be farmed. Luckily for you, we have compiled a list of planets and moons where you can find Plutonium and then use it in crafting weapons, armor, and other items.

Where To Find Plutonium in Starfield

Only a handful have explored every corner of Starfield‘s space, and for now, there are only 25 confirmed locations where you can farm Plutonium in Starfield. If you want to get your Plutonium reserves filled up, you are bound to add a certain amount to your inventory if you grav-jump to the following planets and moons:

Once you land on any of these planets, you will be able to set up an Outpost and customize it to mine the valuable resources. All you need to do is add the Resource Extractor Module to your outpost and you will be good for it. This makes farming Plutonium in Starfield quite an easy task when you know where to look for it.

Buy Plutonium From Starfield Vendors

Although Plutonium is rather rare in Starfield, in addition to exploring vast space and collecting bits you can buy it from vendors in Starfield:

  • Mining League in Neon on Volii Alpha (Available at level 1)
  • Jemison Mercantile in New Atlantis (Requires character level 3-5)
  • Midtown Minerals in Akila City (Requires character level 20)

This is all you need to know about where to find Plutonium in Starfield. As you set up multiple outposts and farm Plutonium in Starfield, your stash will be full to the brim. Fortunately, you can sell extra Plutonium for quick and easy cash.
