Black Ops 6 makes several nods to past Treyarch Call of Duty titles, including weapon blueprints, operators, and maps, and now PPSH-41 has joined the collection. Almost everyone in the community believed that the “iconic SMG” teased by Treyarch for Black Ops 6 Season 2 is the MP-40, but well, we’ve got its Russian competitor the PPSH-41, and built the best loadouts with this dusty gun both BO6 and Warzone.
Best PPSH-41 Black Ops 6 Loadout
- Stock: Ergonomic Stock
- Magazine: Extended Mag I
- Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
- Fire Mods: Recoil Springs
- Muzzle: Suppressor
This version of the PPSH-41 feels very much like the one from Cold War. High fire rate and moderate damage have always been the main qualities of this SMG in every Call of Duty game, but the accuracy? Nah, not at all. That’s why we have both the Recoil Springs and Vertical Foregrip underbarrel here for this gun. Check the recoil pattern below:
The PPSH-41 is a lesser version of the Saug when it comes to horizontal recoil. You can control it without these attachments, but hitting anything farther than 10 meters with this SMG requires a marksmanship degree. On the other hand, the PPSH-41 is a fast gun in terms of mobility, hence why we’ve got only one attachment to build upon that for the best Black Ops 6 loadout.
The gun doesn’t have rear grips but it’s got many stock attachments to choose from. The Ergonomic Stock is probably the best choice for this PPSH-41 loadout here, boosting slide-to-fire and ADS speeds. The dive-to-fire speed part isn’t really a big deal.
Best PPSH-41 Warzone Loadout
- Barrel: Long Barrel
- Magazine: Extended Mag II
- Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
- Fire Mods: Recoil Springs
- Muzzle: Suppressor
After my 2 days of gameplay with the PPSH-41 in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, I’ve got to say, this gun is pretty inconsistent in Resurgence and BR. It could be because of its range, and the Long Range barrel did help up to some point. But, it’s probably not on the meta-level it is in the Multiplayer.
For the best PPSH-41 Warzone loadout, the attachments are mostly the same, with a small change in the magazine size and the barrel. You’ll need more damage range for Warzone gunfights, and since enemies have armor here, even the Extended Mag II isn’t enough sometimes.
Overall the PPSH-41 shines in the Multiplayer, it’s a normal gun in Zombies, and an average SMG in Warzone. So far the DLC weapons for Black Ops 6 have not proven to be super OP by any means, and that’s quite reasonable. The game’s meta is in a good state right now, as if every weapon is good for a certain mode at least.
