Apple officially launched the sixth-generation of iPod Touch. The tech giant introduced a number of improvement on its famous music player device.
As cited by macrumors, the device is now equipped with 1 GB Ram, Apple A8 processor that supports 64-bit computing, 8MP iSight rear sight camera, M8 companion processor, and 1,043mAh battery capacity. Apple’s latest operating system, iOS 8.4 and Apple’s Siri are pre-installed on the device.
The design is similar with iPhone 6, but the size is smaller with only a screen span of 4 inch. Even though the it only has 4 inch screen span, it is the first Apple 4 inch device that’s equipped with retina display.
Since the design bears resemblance with iPhone 6, Gizmag made a list of comparison between the new iPod Touch and iPhone 6. Notable differences include display resolution (iTouch: 1136×640, iphone 6: 1334×750), size (iPhone 6 is 12 percent taller and 14 percent wider), and no fingerprint sensor for the iPod Touch.
There are four internal memory capacity options to choose from, ranging from 16 GB which is valued for $199 , then there’s 32GB and 64GB that costs an additional $50 respectively. The highest available internal memory capacity is 128 GB, with a price tag of $399
