This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

If you want to know more about the characters in this wonderful roguelike game, check out our Brotato tier list, wherein we ranked all classes. With this guide, you will be able to choose one of the potato brothers according to their tier and your preferences. The developers have done a good job and added as many as 44 different classes, so the game will definitely draw you in for a long period of time. We have divided all the characters into 5 categories, from S to D, so you know how rare or powerful they are. We’ll tell you about the best character from each category, so you know who to look for when you want to unlock a new hero.

Brotato All Classes Tier List

As mentioned above, we will divide all available characters into 5 tiers so that you can focus on the ones you need:

Tier Characters
S Knight, Ranger, Ghost, One-Armed, Brawler, Well-Rounded, Lich, Golem, Renegade
A Bull, Multitasker, Doctor, Crazy, Artificer, Cyborg, Apprentice, King
B Mutant, Lucky, Speedy, Generalist, Old, Gladiator, Engineer, Loud, Hunter, Streamer, Jack
C Sick, Wildling, Demon, Pacifist, Explorer, Chunky, Masochist, Arms Dealer, Fisherman
D Soldier, Entrepreneur, Farmer, Saver, Mage, Glutton, Cryptid

Below, we will tell you more about each of the tiers and the best Brotato characters from each of them.

S-Tier

We have included 9 characters in this tier, and each of them is good in its own way and has powerful skills, but there is definitely 1 we want to highlight – namely, Well-Rounded.

Well-Rounded

You may be surprised by our choice, but Well-Rounded is actually a very good character for both new and experienced players. He has no negative or neutral effects, only positive ones:

  • +5 max HP
  • +5% Speed
  • +8 Harvesting

He would be a great choice in combination with a pistol and SMG. For successfully completing a level with this character, you will receive a valuable Potato item that significantly increases your performance.

A-Tier

Characters in this tier also boast good stats and combat performance. Among the 8 of them, we have chosen the most balanced one: the Doctor.

Doctor

Although the armor is initially reduced by 50% and the attack speed by 100%, this is still a very good class. In the right hands and with the right weapons, the Doctor will be able to destroy waves of enemies while regenerating very quickly. Among its characteristics, we can highlight:

  • +200% attack speed with medical weapons
  • +5 HP Regeneration
  • +5 Harvest

If you focus on finding the right weapon and collecting several Medical Guns, your opponents will not have a chance to win. For completing a run, you will receive a Medikit item with even more regeneration. This Brotato character can be unlocked by healing 200HP in one wave.

B-Tier

This tier has the largest number of characters and each of them is unique in its own way. Our favorite is Jack.

Jack

This character is designed for more experienced players to complete more difficult levels. His main characteristics are the following:

Positive:

  • +50% damage against bosses and elite
  • +200% materials

Neutral:

  • – 75% of enemies

Negative:

  • +250% enemy health
  • +50% enemy damage

Taking all of this into account, we can say that with the right choice of weapons and character leveling during the game, you can easily overcome the waves because there will be much fewer enemies, and everything will depend on your accuracy and correct calculations.

C-Tier

The characters in this tier are not as effective as the ones we described above, but each of them has a unique Brotato that will turn everything upside down. We especially want to tell you about Demon.

Demon

After you finish a Danger 5 run, you will unlock this remarkable character. The main strategy here is to ensure that you have enough health at the start of the following round. To gain an additional 1 HP for every 20 enemies you kill, we advise using Ghost Scepter.

D-Tier

The last category is considered the worst, but that doesn’t mean that all characters are completely unplayable. At least one of them will be able to show the enemies what real war is all about, and that’s the Soldier.

Soldier

This character is very interesting and strong. He doesn’t have any negative traits – only positive ones:

  • +50% damage while standing still
  • +50% attack while standing still
  • +200% Pickup Range
  • +10% Speed
  • +15 Knockback

The only limitation is that it can only attack while standing. An effective tactic is to try to attack enemies while standing in one place for as long as you can, then flee and reposition yourself in another location. To win, we advise you to gather as many Double Barrel Shotguns as you can.
