A California woman saw a man bend down and record her under her shorts while she was at Von’s grocery store. To make matters worse, she had her toddler with her. She confronted him about it, which is when others stepped in to try to make things right for this woman.
Tiger (@el_tigrex3) was shopping with her two-year-old when she noticed something suspicious. According to her, a man bent down under her and started recording up her shorts while she was shopping at the Von’s store! She follows the man after noticing what he did and confronts him. She says, “Let me see the video!” He quickly shows her his phone, then takes it back. Tiger isn’t going to stand for that, so she chases him through the store with his cart. She tells everyone around her that he was recording up her shorts. A male customer approaches, and Tiger calls out, “He’s trying to delete it now!”
The male customer approaches the creepy customer and immediately puts his hands on him. He asks him if he “has a problem” and asks why he’s “looking up people’s skirts.” The man continues walking and trying to get away from them. Eventually, he abandons his cart and walks out of the store with his dog. When another customer walks over and confronts him about it, he tries to say he didn’t do it. When Tiger questions him about it some more, he says he was going to record but didn’t, and he admits as much on camera.
Finally, an employee tries to stop the customer so that he can’t leave the store with a video of her on it. Tiger tells the employee that he “admitted to it” and that he still has a video recording of her on his phone. She says to him, “That’s disgusting. Why would you do that?” He’s baffled by the confrontation and stutters, unable to say anything else to her. While all this is happening, a bunch of employees are standing around but doing nothing to help her.
According to Tiger, police eventually arrived to assist her. She claims that Von’s wouldn’t allow police to access camera footage. However, she did say the man was “arrested for now.” She tells her audience to stay safe and stay aware of what’s happening around them.
Commenters immediately reacted to Tiger’s video. Many shared reactions about how employees handled the situation when Tiger was in need. As one asked, “What happened with men stepping in and helping women, children and even the ones that help others that get bullied? I always intervene.” Another commenter mentioned, “So happy that people stepped in to help you.”
Other commenters urged her to take action, telling her to “Get an attorney and sue Von’s” for how she was treated. At this point, commenters continue to share their reactions and opinions regarding what went down at this grocery store. They show support for Tiger after such a traumatic incident.
