Two new videos were released to give us some additional information regarding Call of Duty: Vanguard Multiplayer features. The first of the two is a trailer that shows a few of the 20 multiplayer maps that will be available at launch. Players know what to expect from Call of Duty already: polished environments and weighty gunplay seem to be present once again. This time, Activision emphasizes ‘Tactical Destruction’, where the decor responds better than ever to the carnage you’re about to indulge in. Flying debris, shattered glass pieces, blood splatters, and crumbling walls – Sledgehammer Games is really flexing some muscles in the visual department.
The second trailer goes into more depth, explaining ways in which Call of Duty: Vanguard Multiplayer tries to push the franchise forward.

The number of players present on the map will vary and largely depend on the size of the field.
- Tactical: 6v6 battles
- Assault: 20-48 players involved
- Blitz: Smaller size fields that emphasize fast-paced action
Naturally, old favorites such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and others, will make a return in Vanguard. Activision’s new title also proposes a brand new mode named ‘Patrol’ – an objective-based battle that includes a constantly moving scoring zone.
Call of Duty: Vanguard will also introduce the Champion Hill mode: head-to-head battles that allow players to 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3 across four different maps. The main aim here is to be the last squad standing (Sounds familiar enough?). There is even going to be a Clan system that will heavily promote progressing with your friends – even allowing cross-platform teaming up. Even other features such as the Battle Bass rewards can be unlocked as a group if members belong to the same clan.
For PC players (that love their custom settings and optimization options), Call of Duty: Vanguard will feature an uncapped framerate, customizable keybindings, and ultrawide support.
Call Of Duty Vanguard Multiplayer: Once Again, Zombies
Studio Treyarch participates in Vanguard by adding a Call of Duty Zombies crossover. Call of Duty: Vanguard‘s Zombie mode will be directly connected to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War‘s own Zombies storyline.
Those familiar with Zombies will know what to expect: having to survive hordes of zombies in shooting galleries. New additions in terms of core gameplay have been made, though the details surrounding them are still a little unclear.
Players who have pre-ordered the game will be able to check out the Multiplayer aspect of the title rather soon. For PlayStation owners, the first Multiplayer open beta will run from September 10 to 13. PC and
