Can you play Dead Space remake on Steam Deck? Answered

You will not be able to play the Dead Space Remake on Steam Deck. EA has confirmed this with the Verge, stating: “Dead Space Remake will not be released on Steam Deck.” The game is only available for PC, consoles, and Xbox.

Although the game developer has not released any official statement, it is safe to assume that the game will not be available on Steam Deck. Future games in the Dead Space series may be available for Steam Deck, but the game is not supported now.

Some blogs suggest that one of the reasons that game does not support Steam Deck is that the game runs on Denuvo DRM.  Denovo DRM is a security technology used to protect games from piracy, and it is not helped much on Steam Deck.

Although the game cannot be supported on Steam Deck, the game can still be played on other formats, such as consoles and Xbox. So,  if you want to experience the new Dead Space series, you can still do so on other platforms.

That’s all you need to know about the Dead Space Remake and its availability on Steam Deck.  We hope this guide helped answer your question.  Happy gaming!

Also, Dead Space Remake is available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
