Since the release of Nightingale players all over the place have been super excited to start an expedition throughout the Fae wilds, but there’s one issue that many of those players have been facing. If they don’t have decent enough internet, Nightingale‘s online-only format holds them back quite a bit. Not only are players having issues with the in-game servers, but some of them are even refunding the game altogether and parting ways with it for good. However, it looks as though we’ll be getting an offline game mode in the future, and this could mean more opportunities for Realmwalkers with internet that doesn’t meet the specific requirements for the all-online state that Nightingale is currently in.
A New Offline Mode for Nightingale Could Mean a Huge Increase in Players
Since the release of Nightingale, the dev team has been hearing a lot of discussion that boils down to the fact that loads of players aren’t able to play because of the internet requirements. While they had high hopes, as well as a beautiful vision for what they wanted Nightingale to be, it’s just not possible for some players. While some of us are experiencing that vision already, lots of people have been left behind because they don’t have fast enough internet.
Earlier today, Inflexion posted in the official Nightingale Discord server and eased quite a bit of worrying about whether or not some players will get to experience what it’s truly like to be a Realmwalker. Now, there’s no set date on it, but the Inflexion Team is prioritizing the development of an offline mode of Nightingale that will be released as soon as it’s ready.
This new offline mode could mean a huge increase in players for Nightingale, and even more opportunities to add new and exciting content to the already awesome experience. We aren’t sure when this offline mode will go live, but it’s nice to see Inflexion listening to players’ concerns and wanting to make Nightingale accessible for everyone.
Nightingale is now available on PC.
