Cardi B Slams Joe Biden’s Presidency: ‘Layers of Disappointment’

Cardi B is making a political statement and taking a stand against the current state of the country. When the rapper isn’t being naughty online, she often lends her voice to social issues on social media. However, Cardi, who supported President Joe Biden during the 2020 presidential election, isn’t impressed with his performance. She recently revealed who will have her vote during the coming elections, and Biden might not stand a chance.

Cardi was candid about her regrets during a recent interview. The Bodak Yellow rapper reiterated that she stands by her previous vow never to publicly endorse a presidential candidate. In addition, she has no intention to vote in the 2024 Presidential Elections because none of the candidates are worth it. “I don’t f**k with both of y’all ni**as,” she said of Biden and his opponent Donald Trump.

Although Cardi isn’t on board with a Trump presidency, she believes Biden didn’t fulfill his promise to the citizens, describing his administration as “layers and layers of disappointment.” The 31-year-old lamented the high cost of living, noting that she feels like “people got betrayed.”

“It’s just like, damn, y’all not caring about nobody. Then, it really gets me upset that there is solutions to it. There is a solution. I know there’s a solution because you’re spending billions of dollars on any fucking thing.”

A particular bone Cardi has to pick with President Biden is the funding of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Gaza wars. “[America] don’t pay for endless wars for countries that have been going through shit for a very long time,” she explained to Rolling Stone. Cardi then criticized the government for being only involved in wars that benefit them. 

“I don’t like that America has this superhero cape on. We never did things to be superheroes. We did things for our own convenience.”

Dwayne Johnson Also Won’t Endorse Joe Biden

Cardi’s political revelation follows the same explanation actor Dwayne “Rock” Johnson gave when speaking about the elections. In an April interview, the former WWE star declared that he won’t be endorsing any candidates, especially Biden. “The endorsement that I made years ago with Biden was one I thought was the best decision for me at that time,” he said on Fox News.

Johnson believes that his former endorsement caused a division in the nation. “So I realized now going into this election, I’m not going to do that. I wouldn’t do that because my goal is to bring our country together. I believe in that in my DNA,” he declared.
