The Super Mario Bros. Movie is set to release soon. With all the mixed feelings in the air, Chris Pratt is voicing concerns regarding the movie and assuring fans that the film lives up to Mario’s iconic legacy. But what’s this? Chris Pratt revealed that the Mario Movie has a special post-credits scene?
What’s The Special Post-Credits Scene in the Mario Movie?
In an interview with CBR, Chris Pratt, and co-actor Charlie were questioned if they’d like to show up in a sequel and whether it would feature Mario Golf, the interviewer asked jokingly.
With that said, Chris Pratt changed the subject and followed up with something juicy. Pratt said, “Listen, at the end of the film, there’s a post credit scene that gives you a taste of what the sequel could be about. And that gets me very, very excited. There’s been talk of a Luigi’s Mansion. That was a Gamecube game. I think that would be great.”
Pratt’s already shown interest in a sequel to the Super Mario film with extra TV this week. He urged fans to check out the movie, and stated that it does justice to Mario’s iconic legacy. He went on to inform that the Super Mario Movie could be just one of the multiple films in the cinematic franchise.
He continued talking to Jenn Lahmers and said, “You saw the movie. It really honors the video game, it honors the world of Mario, and it’s very promising as to what we could expect over the next 10 years, like an entire universe of these types of movies”
Chris followed up and said:
“They’re super nostalgic, they’re really fun, it’s Illumination so they know what they’re doing, and it’s great because – especially for me, now that I have kids, I have to see every animated movie whether it’s good or not, so I’m really grateful when a great animated movie comes out, and that’s what this is thankfully. And hopefully there’ll be more.”
So what’s the fuss about this post-credits scene in the Super Mario movie? Will the bulk of the movie be worth it to make it to the end? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned for more on TheNerdStash.
