Clash Royale is the card-building MOBA-like spin-off to the hit Clash of Clans mobile game from Supercell. As you can expect from a mobile game, acquiring important in-game currencies like the Gold Coins in Clash Royale becomes a rather tough job past a certain point. Thankfully, there are a few ways that you can exploit in order to gain additional Gold Coins every week fast in Clash Royale.

1. Opening Chests

Obviously, the easiest way to earn Coins or Gold in Clash Royale is by opening Chests. There are various Chests you can get from playing every day, including Golden Chest, Clan Chest, Tournament Chest, and others. You can also get free Silver Chests from the Shop or by completing Quests.

2. Play Ladder Battles When There’s a Gold Rush Event

True to its name, in a Gold Rush Event, you’ll be awarded bonus Gold for destroying Crown Towers in 1v1 Ladder Battles. Depending on your Arena Level, each Tower gives a different amount of extra Gold:

First Princess Tower: 4% of the total Gold.
Second Princess Tower: 6% of the total Gold.
King’s Tower: 8% of the total Gold.

Most of the time, Gold Rush Events show up on the weekends and last for three days, giving you a maximum amount of 18% bonus Gold (or limited to 6,000 Gold per Battle) if you managed to destroy the Towers.

3. Play Classic Challenges in the Victory Challenge

If you can spend 10 Gems, participating in the Classic Challenge isn’t a bad way to get Gold in Clash Royale. Here, you’ll be matched with other players who have the same number of wins, and winning rewards you with Chests, which contain Golds and Cards.

Sure, you could buy 1,000 Gold for 60 Gems, but the trade-off is poor. Running six Classic Challenges for the same amount of Gems would still give you a similar amount of Gold (even if you don’t win all of them) as well as additional Cards from the rewards. And if you’re a competitive player, running a gauntlet of Classic Challenges is an excellent way to practice fighting against people with similar skill levels as you.

3. Play Clan Wars 2 Every Day

Clan Wars 2 is the new Clan feature that was added back in August 2020. Competing in River Race, completing River Tasks, and actually reaching the Finish Line during Battle Days will give you tons of rewards from the Clan War Chest and Fame to boot.

But even on Training Days, you’ll still be rewarded 700 Gold for winning a Battle; even more, like up to 2,500 Coins, if you play the best-of-three Duels. Spending around 10-15 minutes playing Clan Wars 2 is definitely one of the best options to gain Gold Coins fast for Clash Royale free-to-play players.

4. Donate Cards to Your Clan

When you’ve joined a Clan, you can donate Cards to Clanmates, which rewards you with:

Common Card: 1 XP, 1 Star Point, and 5 Gold.
Rare Card: 10 XP, 10 Star Points, and 50 Gold.
Epic Card: 10 XP, 10 Star Points, and 500 Gold.

Once you reach Arena Level 10 or 11, you’ll always have more Cards than you know what to do with, and you’ll never have enough Gold to upgrade them anyway. At this point, being generous benefits both parties since you can obtain Gold Coins fast by donating, and your Clash Royale Clanmates can get the Cards they need.

With this in mind, in theory, you could gain 10,650 Clash Royale Gold Coins every week fast from filling up the Daily Donation Limit with 8 Rares, 160 Commons donates, and 5 Epic cards every Sunday.
