Cloudpunk is one of those games that aren’t very well known but are considered must-play games among many. Those games are the best kinds of games, and I’m honored every time I’m pleasantly surprised by an indie game I review. This one, in particular, has reached the heights of 4000 reviews on Steam, with a Very Positive rating of 88% at the time of posting. Soon though, other players will have the chance to enjoy this beautiful adventure. Announced by developer ION LANDS, Cloudpunk is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on October 15th. You can find the trailer for the announcement below.

Cloudpunk puts you in the shoes of Rania, a young girl just starting her job at the Cloudpunk delivery service. This service is based in the sprawling city of Nivalis, filled with beauty and corruption as far as the eye can see. Her job seems to be going well until things get more and more concerning. Meet up with several deep characters, explore bigger and better landscapes, and make deliveries as you discover the truth behind Cloudpunk and other mega-corporations. Just remember though, Cloudpunk’s got a reputation to hold, so don’t be late on deliveries.

If you need more proof as to why you should try this game, just read some of the reviews. Many cite the brilliant atmosphere Cloudpunk portrays, being grand in scale but incredibly detailed throughout. The amount of immersion is by all means its strongest point, while offering some chill gameplay that ramps up as deliveries get stranger. It’s a very unique game, and one that I’m sure many console users will enjoy as much as PC has. We’ll see if that holds up when the game releases. It’ll release digitally on October 15th, with retail versions to arrive at a later date.

For now, I’d love to hear what you have to say regarding Cloudpunk and its success. Do you think you’ll be trying Cloudpunk on release? What are your initial impressions from the trailer? Let us know, and stay tuned at The Nerd Stash for all your news, reviews, and more!
