Black Ops 6 is being marked as one of the biggest Call of Duty titles in a stretch, as it’ll change the way that we’ve been playing the shooter in the past couple of years. New perk system, fresh weapons to load, and on top of all is the revolutionary Omnimovement. However, these changes plus many more are not only for the Black Ops 6, as all of them will be integrated into Warzone as well.
Omnimovement
Sprint, dive and slide into any direction you want, that’s how short we can explain the Omnimovement system. Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is the first to feature this new mechanism, and overall it changes the pace of the game and allows more movement freedom in the game to players. This would play a pivotal role in Warzone for its slower TTK.
Pick-3 Perk System
From 2022, the Modern Warfare 2 perk system has been integrated into Warzone for 2 years now. However, this part of the loadout menu is about to get completely overhauled for the Black Ops 6 Warzone experience. This includes the new Pick-3 perk system, allowing players to have 3 base special abilities in the game. However, most of the perks on each list are not the same as before, and their functionality has been fused so that your choice becomes more valuable.
Aside from that, you can find and stack additional perks on the ground in Black Ops 6 Warzone, which is a big change. So if you have Tempered, Ghost, and Birdseye for example, you could also find a Double Time on the ground and add it to your loadout. Since the Specialist perk exists in the Black Ops 6 version of Warzone, then it’s assumed that you can pick and stack as many singular perks as you find as ground loot.
Wildcards
On top of the new perks system coming to Warzone, there’s also the Black Ops classic Wildcards reaching the lands of the Battle Royale experience as well. This new section of the loadout allows players to pick one Wildcard, granting a unique specialty, like having one additional perk, two primary weapons, or putting 8 attachments on your gun.
Loot System and Backpack
Want Warzone 1? Everything in this section is back to that golden era! That means when you open your backpack, there’s only one slot for every item. One Killstreak, one primary weapon, one self-revive, gas mask, everything. So with that in mind, you can not have extra items in a pack so that you can spam Mortar Strikes or carry 3 self-revives so that you can survive the final gas play. All in all, things are going fair.
New Resurgence Map
Treyarch is telling us a backstory and changes of one of its super iconic Multiplayer maps with the new Black Ops 6 Warzone playground. Area 99 is a Resurgence map that’s coming to Warzone as soon as the Black Ops 6 integrations are launched, giving players a larger Nuketown.
The map surely does look like the Nuketown from the above, with the whole thing being about how this experimental town is created. The houses, mannequins, and even the Nuketown logo are here on this map. 40 players enter this small Resurgence mayhem, with Verdansk coming back later in 2025. Warzone BR Ranked Play is also set to release later this year with the Urzikestan map until Verdansk is given to us.
Body Shield
Pulling off the execution moves on your enemies is a plethora of fun, but you know what makes the best? Capturing and using the enemies as human shields! Add this to the proximity chat; it’s a blast of new fun play. You could also knock the opponent, and play a “Shhhh..” emote on them.
What Happens To The MW2/MW3 Weapons?
Now this is a question to worry about, since when annual Call of Duty games are released, only the weapons from that game can rock. However this time with the Wildcards, we can tune some of the unworthy MW2/MW3 weapons to godhood with the addition of 8 attachments. Unless they’re nerfed to the underground. Plus, you’re telling me that the Kar98k is no longer working after Black Ops 6 releases? Please don’t.
Now another feature coming with Black Ops 6 Warzone changes is the new camo grind dedicated to the BR game. Alongside Zombies and Multiplayer, players can achieve unique camos that can only be obtained by playing Warzone, which adds 8 more to your list.
And that’s it with all the changes coming to Warzone with the release of Black Ops 6, and it seems like this is the perfect year to be a Call of Duty fan. The mix of Warzone 1 and the current MW3 style of the game is a blessing that’s touched by Treyarch’s new invention of the Omnimovement, and that’s peak if nothing.
