Rafael and Pablo are two brothers who run a blacksmith shop on the island and will definitely be helpful if you want to upgrade tools or buy weapons while playing Coral Island. If you need a sneak peek about what items are sold here, and what upgrades you can perform, we’ve noted all the perks they offer. In addition to working with tools, the two brothers will also help you process the treasure coffers and geodes that you can find in the mine.
Coral Island: Blacksmith Location
If you’ve walked around the city before or carefully studied the map, you may have noticed the blacksmith shop. It is located in the northern part of the map, a little below Starlet Elementary School. To get there, it’s best to head from your farm to the Ranch and then go right until you reach the Pufferfish Drilling Corp office. Next, follow the path north, and you will see the blacksmith shop on your left.
Like most other businesses in Coral Island, the blacksmith shop has its own schedule:
Day of the week | Working hours |
Monday | 9:00 – 18:00 |
Tuesday | |
Wednesday | |
Thursday | |
Friday | |
Saturday | 9:00 – 14:00 |
Sunday | Closed |
It is worth noting that even if there is a festival on the island, the blacksmiths will still be working on the specified days, so you can visit them if you wish.
Coral Island: Goods Sold in the Blacksmith’s Shop
When you visit the forge, you can talk to Rafael to see the available options. The first thing that will probably catch your eye is the shop, where you can find useful items. The assortment may not be as large as in other shops, but the goods themselves will be extremely useful to improve tools and develop your farm. Here are the items you can buy and their prices:
Goods | Price |
Coal | 90 Coral Coins |
Bronze ore | 100 Coral Coins |
Silver ore | 500 Coral Coins |
Gold ore | 1500 Coral Coins |
Blunt sword (Available after cavern opens, Spring 5) | 1000 Coral Coins |
If you decide to upgrade your tools, you should be ready to spend a lot of currency because buying ores is an expensive decision.
Another option you can use is to process geodes into gems and treasure coffers into artifacts. This feature will cost you 20 Coral Coins per action. This is a very useful option because in this way you can significantly enrich the local museum with new finds.
Coral Island: How to Upgrade Tools in Blacksmith
Probably the most important advantage of a blacksmith shop is the opportunity to upgrade your tools. If you haven’t done so, you should take advantage of this feature. By upgrading tools, you can perform various actions much faster, using less energy and getting more work done.
Pay attention that each upgrade will cost you a lot of money and rare resources. Let’s take the axe as an example, here’s how much each upgrade will cost you:
Tool | Price |
Bronze axe | Axe: x1 Bronze bar: x5 Wood: x20 Coral Coins: x1500 |
Silver axe | Bronze axe: x1 Silver bar: x5 Wood: x20 Coral Coins: x3000 |
Gold axe | Silver axe: x1 Gold bar: x3 Hardwood: x5 Coral Coins: x10000 |
Osmium axe | Gold axe: x1 Osmium bar: x3 Hardwood: x5 Coral Coins: x20000 |
The same goes for other tools, such as hoe, pickaxe, can, and scythe. You can come to the blacksmith any day they are open and upgrade the tool if you have enough resources and money. It is also worth noting that each upgrade requires a certain period of time for the blacksmith to finish the work. Depending on the level of the upgrade, this period will become longer and longer, and the tool will be removed from your inventory.
