The Crunchyroll SimulDub Spring 2022 lineup was announced. The company noted that it would offer shows in English and some other languages after the premiere of its Japanese simulcast. Out of all the titles, SpyxFamily was the major headliner.
This new addition of dub titles comes in the wake of Crunchyroll also removing numerous dubbed and subbed titles from the platform. Both of these decisions came after Crunchyroll and Funimation announced a merger, making Crunchyroll the largest anime streaming platform worldwide.
Crunchyroll’s Spring 2022 addition is the largest on record for the company. It will also add more than 40,000 episodes and 16,000 hours to the platform. Along with this, Funimation will continue to add new subbed and dubbed titles of previously licensed series. At the same time, viewers will also be able to access simulcasts of top airing series immediately after they air in Japan.
