Since its initial announcement, Crunchyroll and Toei animations announced their plans to distribute the One Piece: Red movie in theaters across America. Other countries a part of this distribution include Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. This film will be available in theaters this coming fall.
The One Piece Film: Red will also be screening at Anime Expo 2022. It is coming to LA from July 1st-4th. At the same time, Toei plans to hold a series of special events to celebrate the coming film, including “One Piece Film: Red presents Steve Aoki Live.” The event will feature a one-night music event featuring artist Steve Aoki. There will also be another special panel at the Expo featuring the film’s producer Shinji Shimizu and English dub actors Brandon Potter and Anthony Bowling.
“One Piece: Red”: New Story, New Characters, and New Novels
With the release of this upcoming movie, the One Piece Red story will also be receiving an original novel as well. Shueisha is listing that the novel will be released on August 9th under its Jump J-Books imprint. More details about One Piece Film: Red will be revealed at Anime Expo on July 2nd in Los Angeles. At the time, it is unknown if there will be a live stream.

Uta- the most beloved singer in the world. Renowned for concealing her own identity when performing, her voice has to be described as “otherworldly”. Now, for the first time ever, Uta will reveal herself to the world at a live concert. At the venue filled with all kinds of Uta fans- excited pirates, the Navy watching closely, and the Straw Hats led by Luffy who simply came to enjoy her sonorous performance- the voice that the whole world has been waiting for is about to resound. The story begins with the shocking fact that she is Shanks‘ daughter.
The actual anime One Piece is available to stream on Crunchyroll at this time. It is unknown if One Piece: Red will be available on Crunchyroll in the future.
