Cyberpunk 2077 Showcases New System Requirements

With Cyberpunk 2077 getting reworked until December, it seems there’s a bit of a change in the game’s PC specification as well. And today CD Projekt Red has announced the updated Cyberpunk 2077 system requirements. Along with the updated specs, they also released a new video interview and gameplay footage, showcasing the glitz and glamour of Night City enhanced with the ray tracing technology.

The new Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay footage features DirectX ray tracing and Nvidia DLSS, making effects such as shadow, lighting, and reflections look much more organic and detailed. Ray-traced reflections are cast on every possible surface like in puddles, glass, and many of the city’s metallic surfaces. Shadows soften and sharpen, casts from natural light sources. Neon lights and floating holograms realistically illuminate shops, streets, and buildings with diffuse lighting. There’s really a massive difference in how a simple day-and-night cycle turns out with ray tracing. But first, before we head on to a virtual tour of Night City, let’s take a quick look at the updated system requirements.
