David Beckham and Victoria Beckham have one of the strongest and longest-lasting relationships in the entertainment industry (they celebrated their wedding in 1999), and they have built more than an empire together — they have built a family. In David’s recent interview about his wife, no one is surprised that he has incredibly lovely things to say, but we weren’t expecting his admission that he fell in love with her straightaway.
In an interview with People, David said that meeting Victoria was “love at first sight.” He then confessed as to why he was so drawn to his now-wife. “Well, of course. She was a Spice Girl, sexy, beautiful, and charming,” he said. “Then I found out what a strong woman she is. So it’s again the gift that kept on giving.”

The couple share four children and are each other’s biggest supporters. They are both celebrated for their fantastic style, and David has credited his wife for encouraging him and boosting his confidence. “She always gave me that confidence and, and she still does now, even after 27 years,” he said. “She still gives me that confidence that, you know, wanting to look good and wanting to feel good.”
Victoria has also influenced his style. “She has a huge influence in my style,” he said. “When I put something on, I know from her reaction whether I need to take it off or whether I need to keep it on.”
Over the years, the couple has shared a glimpse into their lives through interviews, documentaries, and loved-up Instagram posts. They appear to have one of the most genuinely beautiful couplings (despite the pressure of living in the public eye), and while they have not avoided rumors of infidelity, they have been married for 25 years and counting.
