When night falls on Updaam, it’s time for a party. The host of the party, Aleksis, is one of the visionaries that you need to kill to escape the loop of Deathloop. Players might have some trouble finding how to invade this closed-doors event and take the target down, but don’t fret because we have a few tips. If you want to do a quick job and leave the area before the loop resets, follow our step-by-step guide.

(Updated on July 26, 2024 – Fact-checked and clarified how to eliminate Aleksis).

How to Identify and Kill Aleksis in Deathloop

“Devouring of the Lambs” shares some similarities with Boyle’s Estate from the original Dishonored, another game from Arkane Studios. At least in the sense that it is a masquerade party. Yet, this one is more likely to become a bloodbath than the one hosted by the Boyle sisters. The first step in killing your target is to find out which of the masked guests he is. Before heading into the mission, it would make things a lot easier to traverse if you have the Shift ability. One way you can do it is to stop the flow of chocolate beer, a favorite of Aleksis. Since this is our preferred method, here are the steps to achieve it:

  1. Head to the cellar. The cellar is underneath the building where the party is being held, and there are many trip mines down there. Here, you will find barrels filled with chocolate beer.
  2. You must find a barrel with a blue symbol.
  3. Turn the valve attached to it to stop the flow of the beer. Eventually, the lack of beer will cause Aleksis to investigate, allowing you to take him out.

The other way to kill him is to get him to dance. The first thing you need to do is to head up to his apartment and enter the bathroom. Next to the toilet is a music player with a set of numbers highlighted. Take a mental note of what the numbers are and head down to the DJ room beneath his room. Putting this combination in will play a song that Aleksis will dance to. Once he gets on the dance floor, you can kill him any way you want, though shooting in front of his followers will bring a lot of enemies on you, so be ready to fight hard or run fast.

These are just a few ways to approach this target, and they are the easiest ones for us. If you’re not a fan of these methods, you can always experiment with others. Ultimately, that’s the magic ofย Deathloop. After you eliminate this target, you’ll get a Karnesis Slab and the LIMP-10 Epic SMG asย rewardsย for killing Aleksis.
