Deathloop has today launched its September 16 update (a lot of September 16 updates today) on PC, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes for this patch. It’s worth noting that, like our coverage of the Fortnite patch notes from earlier, today’s update is going to work a little differently. As there isn’t any sort of “patch notes” the team will be releasing, we’ll instead be including a full description of the blog post provided by the team. Given there were only a few fixes though, it wouldn’t have made sense to have fully-fledged patch notes. Without further adieu, here’s the full list of changes and fixes with Deathloop’s September 16 update on PC!
Deathloop September 16 PC Update Patch Notes
Again, these are directly taken from the Steam post, made by Arkane Lyon and Bethesda:
We have released an update for DEATHLOOP PC players on Steam that resolves an issue where certain achievements were not unlocking for players.
This update also includes more descriptive error messaging for some users experiencing crash issues upon launching the game caused by CPUs that do not meet the minimum requirements, or where extensions necessary to run DEATHLOOP have been disabled by the user or by third party software.
We also continue to investigate reports involving “stuttering” on PC. We are exploring causes and potential fixes and will update you with more information when it becomes available. We appreciate your patience.”
Unfortunately folks, those of you who have experienced heavy stuttering will have to wait a little longer. Arkane’s still working to identify its root cause and correct it, but in the meantime, you can help them out. If you head over to Bethesda’s help website and submit a ticket detailing how the stuttering issues come to be for you, it can help potentially get this fast-tracked and fixed ASAP. With how much fun Deathloop can be, it’d be best to have it fixed sooner rather than later.
Deathloop is available on PC and PlayStation 5, with the September 16 update exclusive to the former.
