The Festival of the Lost event is now live in Destiny 2, and while players are excited to get involved with the Halloween-related festivities, the event is plagued with several bugs and errors preventing many fans from enjoying the game. For instance, a Haunted Sector Playlist error is causing the boss to spawn based on the Kill Timer and not if players have cleared all the Headless Ones. This bug forces players to wait for several minutes for the boss to appear, wasting precious time that could be used to farm the various event rewards. Continue reading to learn how these errors can be fixed in Destiny 2‘s Festival of the Lost.
Fixing Bugs & Errors for Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost
Unfortunately, there is nothing that Destiny 2 fans can do to fix the errors and bugs they are experiencing during the Festival of the Lost. The reason is that the problem stems not from the players’ side but from the servers run by Bungie. In other words, these issues directly result from a lack of polish and playtesting on the developer’s end.

According to Twinfinite, this unfortunate occurrence of event-related bugs is not the first time the Festival of the Lost has suffered issues. Last year, the error with the Haunted Sector was also an issue. Other problems are new to the event, such as Spectral Pages not converting into Manifested Pages or Bright Dust Bounties not rewarding the correct amount. As a result, many players are having a difficult time enjoying the Festival when much of their progress is hampered by server-based dilemmas.
Of course, the dev team has been hard at work attempting to fix Festival of the Lost’s issues for Destiny 2 players. If fans are curious as to what problems are being investigated server-side, they can follow the updates provided by official sources, such as the Twitter account for Bungie Help. Nevertheless, until the developers iron out the errors and bugs, Guardians can only wait until they have a seamless experience engaging in the activities of Festival of the Lost of Destiny 2.
Destiny 2 is available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
