Many of us might still be recovering from the end of Lord of Hatred, but there is truly no rest for the ARPG fans because Blizzard is already cooking something up. Today, Diablo 4 unveiled details of its Season of Death Awakening, which is also right around the corner. Beyond the many mechanics and rewards coming to it, there will also be a limited-time free trial of the Warlock class, meaning those who haven’t tried this master of demons will get to experience it, at least for a while.

Diablo 4: Season of Death Awakening Launches on June 30

That’s right. Season of Death Awakening lands on Diablo 4 this June 30, which is exactly next week. In terms of content, there’s a lot coming to it, starting with the Death Cult, which will be the new enemy faction this season. You’ll need to find Pandemonium Ruptures and fend off the hordes of cultists looking to wreak havoc across Sanctuary.

There are also new Horadric Cube recipes coming, meaning that players will get to try out new builds for their classes, and some of them are already looking promising, according to the trailer. And as requested, Tower and Leaderboards are finally coming to the game, so you’ll be able to put your skills to the test to reach the highest spot on the leaderboard if that’s something you want to do.

Also, hot on the heels of one huge crossover, we are getting a new one for Season of Death Awakening, which is Diablo 4 x Overwatch. Several skins from iconic heroes are coming to the ARPG, including Kiriko, Mercy, and many more.

And as we mentioned above, players will also get the opportunity to try out Warlock as part of a free trial that begins on June 30 and runs until July 7. So far, we know that the only limitation is that the class is playable up to level 30. So, those looking to become full-time demonologists should look into purchasing the recent expansion to keep this class.

Overall, this Season of Death Awakening is looking great for Diablo 4, and one that we hope causes the same impact as Season of Reckoning, which has been one of the best we’ve seen in the game, especially as it came with a superb expansion.
