To bring Simba from The Lion King Realm to Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must complete a quest called “Stars To Guide Us.” Welcoming Simba into the village would introduce a host of new character stories to enjoy, so completing this quest should definitely be a priority for players. To get started on “Stars To Guide Us,” head to The Lion King Realm and speak with Simba, who will await your arrival near the large waterfall in the jungle area.

After your initial conversation with Simba during the “Stars To Guide Us” quest in Dreamlight Valley, he’ll lead you deeper into the jungle, where he’ll continue to discuss his troubles. Your protagonist believes Merlin is the best person to solve issues that deal with magic. Accordingly, you must return to the Valley and talk to the wizard.

Merlin suggests you recreate the meaningful memento Simba mentioned — Rafiki’s Walking Stick. To craft this item in “Stars To Guide Us,” you’ll need the following resources:

  • Softwood × 5
  • Fiber × 5
  • Purified Night Shard × 2

Softwood is a common resource in the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Forest of Valor, or Glade of Trust. You can also buy it from Kristoff’s Stall if it’s available in his stock. Fiber is another item Kristoff will occasionally sell. Alternatively, you can craft it using Seaweed from foraging on the beach or fishing. Finally, Purified Night Shards are a special material formed by combining five Night Shards with a Dream Shard.

Once you’ve assembled Rafiki’s Walking Stick, return to Simba and place the stick onto the stone mount. Afterward, follow the lion to the dried-out oasis in The Lion King Realm. The next objective in the “Stars To Guide Us” quest of Disney Dreamlight Valley is collecting three types of Seeds. Based on gameplay by YouTuber Quick Tips, Jungle Fern and Waterfall Plant nodes will generally appear in greener areas of the realm, while Clearing Tree nodes spawn around the area you previously were in with the stone mount.

After gathering the seeds and planting them in the dried-out oasis, investigate the rock beneath the elevated rib cage to the left of the tunnel’s exit. Strike it with your pickaxe to bring back water to the oasis. Return to Dreamlight Valley and welcome Simba to the village to complete “Stars To Guide Us.”

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
