Recently, Disney Dreamlight Valley had its Showcase of updates and new DLC for the rest of this year until the Summer of next year. In the livestream, many players paid a lot of attention to the free content of the base game. More specifically, it was about the floating islands coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley on December 4, but instead of talking about decorating them, it was about turning them into a jail. This is very reminiscent of how, in Animal Crossing New Horizons, many players used to punish their least favorite villagers by locking them up in their homes. So, it looks like history will repeat itself.
It all blew up with a post on Reddit by user Disimyy, who shared one of their photos of their Disney Dreamlight Valley avatar looking at a floating island. However, it wasn’t only that; the user edited the image in such a way that on the island, there is Vallennope’s house with the description:
Many players think hiding the “ugliest” objects, furniture, and houses like Vanellope’s, Encanto’s, or Wall-E’s truck is an excellent idea. As this user shares:
Others share that they used to abandon these “ugly” objects or furniture that didn’t “match” their aesthetic in the farthest corners of their valleys. Some of those with the Eternity Isle use it as a dumpster for this “special” furniture. However, others use them to create an enchanted carnival, a cemetery, or a haunted house on floating islands in Disney Dreamlight Valley instead of a jail. This was perfect for the last Spooky season events in the game.
The decoration is up to each one; you can leave what you don’t like far away from your sight or see the silver lining and take advantage of doing something unique in your valley. There are many places on social networks to inspire you to decorate and arrange your neighbors’ homes.
