A man visited Disneyland in Anaheim, California, and found himself drinking the park’s water all day. Then, he decided to take a look at the liquid itself and was immediately worried: the water appeared to be cloudy. He then shared his findings with the internet, sparking concern but also straightforward explanations for what he saw.
The clip attached above was shared on TikTok by user fragtechmenance (Frag-Tech). In the past, he has reviewed several fragrances, but quit posting in September 2025. Months later, he visited Disneyland and was shocked after taking a peek at his water. The internet shared his reaction, making the clip go viral. It garnered 6.9 million views, 217,700 likes, and more than 6,800 comments.
While at the California park, Frag-Tech got straight to the point. With an empty cup in hand, he wanted to demonstrate “what was going on with the water at Disneyland.” After showing that the cup was, in fact, empty, he went on to fill it up with water from one of the many park fountains.
With a small amount of water in his cup, he then recorded what appeared to be a cloudy, white-looking liquid in it. He clarified he didn’t add anything to it, and, to further lay out his amazement, he shook the cup and the water inside it. The water then turned “crystal clear.”
“I don’t understand. If anybody knows, can you give me some info?” Frag-Tech said. “I even asked a couple of the workers here, and they said they don’t know.”
The man’s water testing at the California park didn’t stop there. In a follow-up clip, he filled up his cup with water from California Adventure Park, which came out clear. Then, he returned to Disneyland at night and filled his cup with water from a different dispenser. Again, the water came out “cloudy,” but it didn’t go away, even if he shook the cup.
“Look at your water before you drink it,” the man wrote in the first clip’s description.
Viewers Provide An Explanation
The video sparked multiple responses online.
Some viewers shared Frag-Tech’s concerns. One viewer commented, “It’s full of chlorine.” Others told the man he was going to be okay for drinking it, with one saying, “I drank from the water hose as a kid. I think you’re good.”
However, the overwhelming majority of users provided a very simple explanation: the water was aerated. One wrote, “The white stuff you see is air. It mixes with the water coming out of the bubbler.” Another one added, “Tell me you ain’t never had faucet water without saying you ain’t never had faucet water.”
These comments were also common in the man’s follow-up clips, with some even criticizing him for allegedly acting oblivious toward the ones written in his original video. As of the writing of this article, Frag-Tech has not directly addressed the aerated water explanation yet.
