CAPCOM’s Resident Evil 4 Remake took the world by storm with its initial release. Now, the developers released a new feature where the players can equip various charms to Leon’s Attache case and gain bonuses and enhancements. But here’s the real question. Do charms stack in Resident Evil 4 Remake? Yes, charms do stack in RE4 Remake. How? Keep reading to find out more.

In the latest addition to Resident Evil 4 Remake, equipping charms with Leon’s Attache case and using them for bonuses can make the game easier for many gamers. Yes, you can stack them, but there are a few exceptions. The same type of charms don’t stack. Only different types of charms with the same bonuses can stackโ€”the game’s rules, not ours.

The small trinkets referred to as “Charms” can be attached to Leon’s Attache case, providing passive bonuses which greatly impact your game. You just need the right charms. To unlock these enhancements, players need to win prizes from various shooting ranges scattered throughout the game.

Chapter 3’s first range is over the Merchant past the Quarry. Take the right elevator to gain access. The challenges begin with achieving high scores and unlocking bonus rounds with extra requirements each round. Earn Bronze, Silver, and Gold tokens by completing challenges and hitting the skulls. Use three tokens of any type by the Vending Machine to purchase rewards.

In Chapter 11, players can also buy Gold Tokens from the merchant in exchange for the rare currency, Spinel. Once obtained, in terms of passive bonuses, these four main charms can be attached to the case when interacting with the typewriter. Some of these charms stack while others don’t in RE4 Remake.

  • Combat: Boosts critical hit rate and Leon’s speed.
  • Merchant Discount: Save money with the Merchant in dealing with repairs and upgrades.
  • Healing Bonus: Enhances healing effect for things Leon can eat, like Green Herbs, fish, and more. This charm stacked with Leader Zealot charms gives a buff for health recovery.
  • Crafting Bonus: Adds frequency to crafting bonus ammo for different weapons in the game.

Do Charms Stack In RE4 Remake?

Yes, charms do stack in Resident Evil 4 Remake. For example, The Deluxe Edition Handgun Ammo (30%), Soldier with Hammer (20%), and Don Jose (15%) give you a 65% chance of a bonus handgun ammo from the normal 10%-15%. The only limitation? You can’t use duplicate charms.

Are you excited to stack charms, buff your stats and survive abominable horrors in Resident Evil 4 Remake? Let us know in the comment section below. For further updates, stay tuned only on The Nerd Stash.
