However, you will still have some limitations. Each in-game day lasts approximately 20 real minutes. Therefore, you must plan your actions in advance to have time to do everything before the time runs out. Moreover, you can try brand-new night expeditions.
Nighttime has always been very dangerous in the world of Pikmin. But now you can use Glow Pikmin and your Oatchi to explore at night. You will need to collect glow pellets and increase the amount of Glow Pikmin to fight powerful enemies. Luckily, time flows at night just like it does during the day. Therefore, you will have approximately 20 minutes to complete your nightly tasks.
Time in the Caves in Pikmin 4
Much of your time in Pikmin 4 will be spent in caves. These locations can be pretty confusing and contain treasures and resources. Therefore, it may seem to you that you need to rush to explore them before the end of the day. However, time in Pikmin 4 caves goes slower than on the surface. To be more precise, it is about 6 times slower. So, it allows you to search for treasures in caves as long as you want.
