Donny Osmond‘s older brother and Osmond Brothers group member, Merrill Osmond, often updates and keeps in touch with his fans on social media. However, fans have found his recent post concerning and question the singer’s well-being.
Merrill Osmonds’ fans have grown accustomed to the former teen idol’s weekly Facebook posts. According to the Daily Mail reports some fans feel that something appears to be very off with the singer’s recent post.
Most fans will recall that the Osmond Brothers skyrocketed to fame in the early 70s. The Utah-based family band was known for their bubblegum pop music and squeaky-clean images.
In January, the Osmond family suffered a great loss when older brother Wayne Osmond suddenly passed away after suffering a stroke at 73. Wayne’s passing was extremely hard on the Osmond family members, especially Donny and Merrill.
In the past, Merrill Osmond’s posts have raised concerns, making some bizarre claims and insinuating at being alienated by his family. His recent post seemingly indicates that Merrill is going through some challenging times with members of his family.
Merrill Osmond’s Bizarre Post Suggests Troubling Times
During the Facebook video post, Osmond shares some interesting thoughts with his Facebook followers. He hinted that he is facing ‘difficult decisions‘ and said that people you love may never even speak to you again.
Merrill Osmond thanked his fans for years of support before sharing a personal and somewhat strange confession. “You know, some of my family members think I’m sort of a wacko at times because I’m a visionary. I really am a visionary.”
The singer eerily admits to seeing things that others have not. He mentions having a special connection with his late parents and deceased son, Troy Osmond. Sadly, Troy passed away in 2018 in his sleep at the age of 33 from an undiagnosed heart condition.
“I have seen things that maybe others have not seen,” Merrill insists. “I‘ve seen my son in heaven. And, I know what he’s doing. I can tell you what my parents are doing,’ he claims.
Merrill Osmond goes on to mention a verse in the book of Joel, where, ‘in the last days,’ old men will ‘have dreams’ and young men ‘will see visions.’
“Grief is a very personal journey. It truly warps your head for a while,” one fan writes.
“He is obviously going through a great deal,” another worried fan adds. ” I hope he gets through whatever is troubling him.”
In the past, the Osmond brothers Alan, Wayne, Merrill, and Jay have expressed feelings of resentment towards Donny Osmond and sister Marie’s success.
Merrill Osmond doesn’t elaborate on the difficult decisions he is facing. While he doesn’t directly point fingers at his family. However, believe Merrill could be envious of his brother Donny Osmond’s ongoing success, and it has caused problems within the family.
No matter what life challenges Merrill Osmond is facing these days, his fans are concerned. They wish him well and continue to flood his social media pages with prayers and words of comfort.
