A theater poster for Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero revealed that the movie will have a U.S. opening on August 19th. Twitter user trichthetm posted a picture of the poster early Saturday afternoon. Apparently, the poster was on display in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, inside the Neshaminy Mall.

Crunchyroll and Sony pictures previously announced the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero film screening in the west. They initially said August but still didn’t give any specific dates. The summer screenings will include both the original Japanese audio with subtitles and a dub. Also, the companies will distribute the film in “all continents, including North America, Europe, Australia/New Zealand, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia (excluding Japan).

Tetsuro Kodama is directing the film, with Naoki Sato composing the soundtrack. Nobuhito Sue is the art director, while Chikashi Kubota is working as the animation director. Akira Toriyama, the original Dragon Ball creator, worked on the film’s original story, screenplay, and character designs.
The film has already released designs for Dende, Korin, and Bulma, as far as fans know. Other characters like Beerus and Whis also look to be in the film as well.
The film will open in Japan on June 11th after a delay due to the Toei Animation hack in March. It was originally slated to open in Japan on April 22nd. The film will screen in IMAX starting on June 11th, in 4DX, and MX4D starting on June 25th. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero will also start screening in Dolby Cinemas starting on July 1st.
