Dying Light 2 features many activities for players to partake in, whether they be mandatory or otherwise. They could be something as simple as the Evacuation Convoys, or something as complex as a full Outpost that needs careful planning and execution. One of the more enjoyable activities to take part in centers around the water towers and electrical stations, which require you to complete puzzles and do some traversal to solve them. And conveniently, one of the mandatory ones is the Downtown Electrical Station. If you find yourself having trouble completing this though, we’re here to help. In this guide, we’ll explain exactly how to complete the Downtown Electrical Station in Dying Light 2!
How to Complete the Downtown Electrical Station in Dying Light 2
First of all, make sure you’re in side the station first. Given this isn’t a difficult task to go about completing, you shouldn’t have much trouble as long as you explore around the building. Once this step is done, head inside and you’ll be met with several colored and numbered switches along with cords coming out of some of them. To solve this puzzle, you’ll need to connect the #1 cord to the number #1 power switch, then do the same with the #2 and #3 cords.
The first of the three cords is fairly simple, as seen above. Simply cross over the middle of the generator and connect it up to have the first one done.
The second is a little more confusing, as there’s a bit more to do with it. For this, you’ll want to grab the cord, head out onto the balcony, and swing across using the available rope. Once you’re on the platform in the middle, just head over and connect it up to have the second cord done!
This final cord is the most obscure of the three, and will likely be why many of you are here. While your first instinct may be to head back to the stairwell, the cord simply isn’t long enough to make it to the third power switch. Instead, you’ll want to head over to the elevator pictured above and climb up, then jump back to the main floor. From there, it’s a straight shot to the third.
Once all that is done, simply head up a few floors to the objective marker and hit the switch (after you’ve looted everything in the building of course) and you’ll be done! You’ll be able to pick your desired reward and move on with the story.
