Another day, another fun story. The mistakes game studios make always become joke material on the internet, and they can be very funny to read. It’s surprising how even the biggest studios keep making mistakes that are caused by carelessness, but this one comes from EA. As you already know, FIFA isn’t FIFA anymore, and the game’s developer, EA, is releasing a new series called EA Sports FC. We will be learning the newest details about EA Sports FC 24 this month. But one of the promotional covers of EA Sports FC 24 has already become a meme on the internet.

The cover was shared to introduce the game’s Ultimate Edition. But it looks like an incomplete version of a promotional cover because of the awful animation quality. There are no corrections made on the social accounts, so EA must think the quality is good enough and ready to go. You can already see hundreds of replies mocking the game cover.

EA has worked on more than 20 football simulator games, but it’s failing with this basic promotional image. To be fair, the image’s quality isn’t what we should worry about. The thing is, the studio is working on its own brand, and we wonder if the technical quality will get diminished with that. The studio used to handle the games’ technical side flawlessly, but the latest posts make us doubt the new title’s integrity.

Let’s be optimistic and hope that EA releases a game that doesn’t suffer due to the lack of the FIFA brand. Konami’s eFootball failed so sadly after its launch, and it’s still not as good as the PES series we played for years. Everyone loves football games, but if EA Sports FC 24’s technical quality lets us down, the football simulator genre will be majorly affected.
