Elvis actor Austin Butler was among the outstanding actors at the 2023 SAG Awards. Austine was nominated for the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor category for his work in Elvis. Austin Is Grateful For Lisa Marie
The Elvis movie star Austin Butler played Lisa Marie Presley’s father in the Baz Luhrmann biopic.
Austin received the Best Actor prize at the Golden Globes for his performance in the movie, and the Presleys were present to cheer him on.
Two days later, Lisa went into cardiac arrest and was taken to the hospital. She was ultimately declared dead at the age of 54.
Even before Lisa Marie’s death, the Elvis actor has never failed to share how supportive Lisa was to her.
During the Golden Globes award, which was held only two days before Lisa’s death, Austin noted that he would forever love Lisa.
On his award night at the 2023 SAG awards, he remembered the amazing Lisa Marie again.
“Lisa was such an extraordinary woman. The times that I spent with her were some of the greatest gifts of my life,” Austin said about Lisa Marie and his time with her.
Austin also stated that it was a privilege for him to have a good relationship with the Presleys.
Lisa Marie Will Live On In Austin’s Memory
Austin’s television career started with appearances on the Disney Channel and Nickelodeon.
Afterward, he played recurring roles on The CW’s Life Unexpected from 2010 to 2011 and Switched at Birth from 2011 to 2012, among other teen dramas.
However, Austin Butler gained prominence for his performance as Elvis Presley in the musical biopic Elvis.
In addition to his Golden Globe win, Academy Award nominated him for Best Actor and awarded a BAFTA. Due to their contribution to Austin Butler’s professional life, Lisa Marie Presley and her family will live on in his memory.
