This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

After much waiting, the Myths of the Realm raid series has come to an end. This will sadden many players, as it was the first original Alliance Raid series we’ve had in a while. Yet, the road has been great, and Warriors of Light worldwide learned the secrets and origins of Eorzea’s twelve deities. Still, those who want to see this to a conclusion will need to beat the Gods’ final test. For that, we’ve prepared a guide to show you how to unlock the Thaleia Alliance Raid in FFXIV 6.5.

Thankfully, unlocking the new Thaleia Alliance Raid in FFXIV 6.5 isn’t hard or challenging. All you must do is the following:

  • Finish the Myths of the Realm quest series until “The Secret of the Twelve.”
  • Head to Mor Dhona and pick “The Heart of the Myth” quest.
  • Travel to the Omphalos and speak to Deryk.
  • As an optional objective, you can speak to all the Gods you’ve faced; it is not required for the raid, though.
  • Head to Mare Lamentorum and speak with the Watcher.
  • Return to Omphalos and watch one last cutscene to unlock the raid.

Once you do that, the doors of Thaleia will open for you, provided you have an item level of 625, that is.

As you can see, the process to unlock Thaleia is relatively short. What makes it long is the time spent in cutscenes, yet we recommend you watch them all as they have some great lore moments. Plus, depending on the deity you chose during your character creation progress, you might get a small dialogue that talks about your chosen patron, a nice detail from Square Enix. So, don’t hesitate to jump into this MMO’s new major update and discover everything the deities of Eorzea have been hiding for years.

If you want to watch the fight, we recommend you watch this video by Xenosys Vex, who already cleared the raid.
