As always, Final Fantasy 14 locks everything behind its main story. This is good because it gives players a lot of the background story of the game and of the things they are about to experience. For the Myths of the Realm Alliance Raid in FFXIV, unlocking it isn’t too hard. First, you need to know that these raids are released in parts. Each part arrives in certain patches. Here’s the release schedule:

With that in mind, it means you’ll need to finish most of the main quests of said patches. Thankfully, you can start the Alliance Raid quest series without finishing the main story but you need to finish that version’s Alliance Raid before tackling the next one. Here’s how to unlock the Myths of the Realm Alliance Raid in FFXIV Endwalker:
- For Part 1 head to Mor-Dhona and start the quest “A Mission in Mor-Dhona“
- For Part 2 head to Mor-Dhona again and take the quest “Return to the Phantom Realm“
The quests are quite short and will unlock the raids quite soon. The real challenge is finishing them as it can be overwhelming with many players. While the first one is already old and the mechanics are out there, the new one is proving to be difficult for many. Still, it is a nice raid with amazing music and great bosses.
