A man wearing a red MAGA hat became the center of attention during an Ashnikko concert in Orlando, Florida, after nearby concertgoers began loudly chanting anti-Trump slogans around him. Videos of the moment quickly spread online, sparking debate over politics at live events and whether the man wore the hat specifically to provoke a reaction from the crowd.

The incident first gained traction after TikTok user “ahorrorborealis” uploaded footage from inside the concert venue. The clip reportedly received more than 10,000 views, over 1,000 likes, and dozens of comments before being reposted to Reddit’s r/PublicFreakout subreddit. On Reddit, the video gained more than 2,000 upvotes along with hundreds of comments discussing the confrontation and the atmosphere inside the concert crowd.

In the video, the Florida concert crowd can already be heard loudly chanting anti-Trump phrases while gathered closely together inside the venue. The man wearing the red MAGA hat is difficult to fully see because of the crowd, but the bright red cap makes him stand out among the concertgoers. Several people nearby could also be seen recording the situation on their phones as the chanting continued for nearly a minute.

Toward the end of the clip, another angle appeared to show the man attempting to move through the crowd and leave the area. By that point, the music had already started and the chanting had mostly stopped, but the man still appeared uncomfortable as he quickly made his way away from the crowd.

Florida Concert Video Sparks Online Debate

The Ashnikko concert incident led to widespread discussion online, with many users questioning why someone would choose to wear a MAGA hat to an Ashnikko concert in the first place. Some commenters argued that the man likely expected attention from the crowd and deliberately wore the hat knowing it would attract reactions. “He got the attention he wanted,” one user wrote.

Others accused the Florida man of intentionally trying to provoke people so he could later post the reaction online himself. Several users also pointed out that Ashnikko has publicly spoken about gender identity and progressive social issues, leading some commenters to question why a visibly conservative attendee would choose to attend the concert at all.

Some users said the incident reflected a growing trend of people making politics part of their public identity through clothing and accessories. Others argued that political merchandise at entertainment events often creates unnecessary tension in crowds.

At the same time, many commenters praised the concert crowd for openly rejecting the MAGA hat wearer. A few users even said the video made them more interested in Ashnikko’s music and fan community because of the crowd’s reaction during the incident.

A smaller number of commenters questioned whether the situation was staged for online attention. However, other users quickly defended the authenticity of the video, claiming they attended the Ashnikko concert in person and saw the man wearing the hat while waiting in the general admission line before entering the venue.
