A Florida man, Mike Salley, has gotten into drama at a gym after working out with his girlfriend. According to Salley, the district manager of Crunch Fitness in Stuart accused him of doing outside personal training at the gym, something Salley denied.
The story was shared on Salley’s TikTok profile under the username letseatsalley. It got over 100,000 views, with many viewers weighing in on the issue. The man recorded himself confronting the manager and staff, asking why he was in trouble for working out with his girlfriend. In the video, staff members can be heard insisting that Salley had broken the gym’s rules and accusing him of instructing other people.
The Florida man argued that he wasn’t in the wrong and felt that they were targeting him because he worked as a personal trainer. And just because he was a trainer didn’t make it wrong for him to exercise with his girlfriend at the gym when he wasn’t actually instructing her. Salley also demanded proof of their accusations.
It got so heated that the staff asked him to leave the building and threatened to call the police. They also told him to leave before the police arrived. Salley refused and continued debating with the Crunch Fitness manager and staff.
Viewers Urge Florida Man to Report the Gym
Viewer responses were mixed. Some sided with Salley, finding the manager’s and staff’s actions quite inappropriate. “Report the business to the city as well so they get put on a notice. Never let them think their job is safe period,” one user wrote.
