A video has gone viral online that includes food influencer Foodgod explaining that he will only be moving back to Los Angeles, California, if former reality television personality and Republican-registered politician Spencer Pratt wins the mayoral election.
The influencer has over 8 million combined followers across all of his active social media channels. The short video sparked various conversations in the replies, including the implication that his version of Los Angeles varies greatly from how those currently living there feel.
According to the video itself, Foodgod appears to be filmed while inside his car in the middle of the street. He can be heard saying, “If Spencer Pratt wins, I’m moving back to LA — I miss the LA energy, and only Spencer could bring it back — 100%, LA needs new energy — Please bring old LA back because it’s got a heartbeat — right now, if Spencer doesn’t win, LA is done. I might never go back”
Foodgod, also known as Jonathan Cheban, is a minor reality television personality, having appeared in various episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and its spinoff shows, including Kourtney and Kim Take Miami and Kourtney and Kim Take New York.
The video itself was posted to the Wall Street Apes X account and included further details on Foodgod’s stance, saying, “People not from California literally have no idea how bad California has gotten under Gavin Newsom and Democrats Los Angeles is DISGUSTING, it’s literally like an apocalypse happened, people really don’t understand that this really is the reality LA has become a more disgusting version of run-down Mexico.”
Reactions to Foodgod Hoping Spencer Pratt Wins Los Angeles Mayor

A [expletive] close friend of Kim K. He got fame because of KUWTK. Look at him. Does he look normal? He doesn’t represent the people of LA, for [expletive] sake. 😂“
Other commenters were a bit more direct with their thoughts, with another person writing, “why these evil ugly people have a voice … if LA is that bad now that you had to leave, trust me it wont get better that soon with Brat’s win … tell the truth that you HATE your new city 🤣“
