Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Season 6 is in full swing, and Epic Games is consistently adding new content to the game. Apart from the weekly challenges, Epic Games is regularly fueling the fandom by bringing high-profile skins and emotes. One of the new emotes that will soon make its way to Fortnite is NFL’s start and Minnesota Vikings’ wide receiver Justin Jefferson Griddy dance emote.
Epic Games is not new to high-profile collaborations. They have teamed up with big franchises in the past, such as Marvel and Nerf, just to name a few. They also collaborated with football(soccer) and released an entirely new line of skins in Fortnite, with each skin representing a different football club.
Epic Games is now teaming up with NFL to bring Minnesota Vikings star Justin Jefferson’s Griddy dance emote to Fortnite. Although Justin Jefferson is known for doing the Griddy dance celebration in his games, it was originally created by high school footballer Allen “Griddy” Davis back in 2017. Since then, the Griddy dance celebration has become very popular in NFL, and many players apart from Justin Jefferson have done the same celebration routine in the past.

Griddy dance emote will be dropping in Fortnite on April 28. Unfortunately, it is not a free emote, and players will have to shell out V-bucks in order to get their hands on it. As soon as it goes live, players will be able to buy the emote from Fortnite’s store. Apart from having a dedicated emote in the game, Justin Jefferson is also receiving a Hit Man Locker Bundle. The bundle will comprise of the items listed below-
- Outfit: Hit Man Outfit

- Emotes: Get Griddy & Signature Shuffle
