Completing your weekly missions in Fortnite is very important. That’s because weekly quests reward you with a lot of experience points. When you complete the Travel Distance Vertically Fortnite quest, you’ll get a whopping 20,000 XP. In this way, you can quickly get experience points, increase your Battle Pass level much faster, and get your rewards. The best way to quickly obtain this season’s Battle Pass reward Optimus Prime, is to complete your quests on time, and as fast as possible. In order to complete this mission, you will need to do 500 meters of vertical travel in Fortnite.

There have been a couple of quests similar to this in Fortnite. For example, there was a quest that require you to travel a distance by using Grind Rails. And another quest required you to travel a distance by sliding. In this mission, you need to travel a vertical distance. In other words, from the top down or from the bottom up.

The easiest way to complete this mission is using a Zipline. When you go up, and down with the Zipline, you will achieve a vertical distance. The best location to do this quickly, and easily is Mega City.

Here are the best steps you can use to complete travel distance vertically:

  • Go to Mega City, and climb to the roof of the tallest building.
  • There should be fans on the roof of this building that lift you up into the air. Lift yourself up from these fans, and drop yourself down from the building. However, you have to drop yourself down the side where the Grind Rail is. This way you will not take fall damage, and you will survive.
  • Then use the Ziplines that lead to the roof, and repeat the process several times.

In this way, you will travel distance vertically both when you lift yourself up from the fans, when you fall down, and when you use the Zipline.
