Game Pass Games Arriving This Month

Game Pass is a service for the Xbox One that provides players with a large library Xbox One, Xbox 360, and original Xbox games for a monthly fee. Game Pass Ultimate is also available which includes, Xbox Live and Game Pass for both PC and Xbox One, for a slightly higher fee. This month is shaping up to be a good month for Game Pass.

October 3

The first new game to come out on Game Pass this month is Dishonored 2. Dishonored 2 is an action-adventure game made by Bethesda for various platforms including the Xbox One. It is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Dishonored. The game allows players to play as either Corvo Attano or Emily and gives them a wide arsenal to get through levels including nonlethal options.

October 10

World War Z is part of the second set of games coming out for Game Pass. World War Z is a Third-person Shooter game based on the book of the same name. The game is set in the same universe as the 2013 film of the same name. The game is a 4-player cooperative game, in which the players face off against zombies similar to the Left 4 Dead games.

The other game coming out for the service on October 10^th is the third-person platformer Yooka-Laylee. The game is a spiritual successor to Banjo Kazooie. Therefore, they are both very similar in gameplay styles. The game follows the adventures of Yooka and Laylee. The player uses both characters in order to collect items and solve puzzles.

October 17

October 17^th will have three games release on the service. Firstly is Felix The Reaper. Felix The Reaper is a unique puzzle adventure game. The game takes on themes of romance, death, and comedy.

Secondly will be Fallout New Vegas. Fallout New Vegas is a post-apocalyptic RPG. The game takes place four years after Fallout 3. However, it’s not a direct sequel. New Vegas is a title that was released last generation. However, it’s critically acclaimed and considered by many as the best game in the Fallout Franchise.

Lastly, Panzer Dragoon Orta will be released on the service on October 17^th. Panzer Dragoon Orta is a rail shooter released for the original Xbox. Orta is the fourth game in the Panzer Dragoon franchise. The player controls a dragon and has to attack oncoming enemies. The game was highly praised at the time of its release.

October 25

The last game coming to Game Pass will be The Outer Worlds. October 25^th is also the release date for The Outer Worlds. Therefore, the game will be available at launch on Game Pass. The Outer Worlds is a first-person action role-playing game. It’s being developed by Obsidian Entertainment, the same people that worked on Fallout New Vegas. Therefore, The Outer Worlds is one of the most anticipated games of the year.
