Want to know everything about Ganondorf in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom after the final trailer? Despite the many timelines and variants of the main characters and their descendants, Ganondorf, also known as Mandrag Ganon, has always been and remains the main antagonist of the legendary game series. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of their beloved villain to Tears of the Kingdom and have long known that he was able to free himself from Mirror of Twilight. But the final trailer for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom showed a new version of the demon leader, and today we will tell everything we know about Ganondorf in the upcoming story.
Ganondorf in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Although Ganondorf was absent from Breath of the Wild and a couple of other games, other antagonists have mentioned him or were his followers. But finally, he was freed from his long imprisonment in the Mirror of Twilight and returned even more powerful character in Tears of the Kingdom.
The final trailer for the upcoming story showed us that Ganondorf has become much stronger than ever. We see him calmly watching the blood moon in the trailer beginning. It probably hints to us that a new bloody era of chaos is coming under the leadership of Ganondorf. The world of Hyrule is still recovering from the previous attack by the great demon leader. But new trouble is not far off.
Regarding Ganondorf’s goals, we dare to assume that he will not give up trying to capture powerful artifacts to rule the world. About halfway through the trailer, we see Ganondorf using mysterious red magic and trying to take Link’s legendary sword. In addition, we can notice a new army of demons summoned by Ganondorf. We will likely be confronting powerful creatures throughout the game before running into Ganondorf a few times per game.
But perhaps Ganondorf will not be the only villain. As you watch the trailer, you may have noticed that for a few seconds, another ominous figure appears. The appearance of this character tells us that we can not expect anything good from him. While we don’t know if he’ll be Ganondorf’s ally or foe, it won’t make Link’s life any easier.
Unfortunately, the trailer doesn’t share many plot details. We don’t know the role of Ganondorf in the upcoming Tears of the Kingdom. But we can say that his goals are still selfish and sinister. However, the name of the Tears of the Kingdom game may hint that Hyrule will plunge into chaos, many characters will die, and most likely, the finale may not be so happy.
