That’s right, dear Travellers; HoYoverse has even more surprises in store for its open-world fantasy game. Although many players believe that Genshin Impact was somewhat abandoned, this has changed since the live stream of version 5.0. Whether or not some limit existed for other reasons is still unknown. What really matters is that Genshin Impact is heading not only to Natlan but also to Xbox. This is the first HoYoverse game to be available on the Windows console, and not only that, because there is already a release date. Hold on to Paimon as the winds of change are blowing toward Teyvat.
We are on the eve of the fourth anniversary of Genshin Impact. This celebration will take place during the release of Natlan and its patch 5.0. Since the Pyro Nation Special Program, players received spam of gifts such as the 5-star character selection banner, free pulls, and pitty/banner mechanic adjustments. However, Genshin Impact kept its biggest news secret until Gamescom 2024, announcing it would be available on Xbox consoles on November 20th. A milestone that seemed far away or even impossible as I am still waiting for the collaboration with Switch.
It remains to see how the game will work on Windows consoles, if it will be one more game in the catalog, if it will be available on Game Pass, or if it will also come to Cloud Gaming. I’m definitely looking forward to playing Genshin Impact with controller support on my Android device. I’m getting ahead of myself; the important thing is that now, with this partnership, it will be more accessible for more players to become Travelers. For those tied to the Daily Commissions, there is no excuse; you can now play from anywhere at any time.
