Maple wood is a highly valuable material in Genshin Impact. After all, it is one of the few materials that can be used for housing, and as you probably know, housing does give players a permanent base of operations. Maple wood is also a useful furnishing material that you can use to decorate your house. Luckily, this coveted material is also easy to grow as long as you know where to find it. This guide will show you how to farm maple wood in Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact: How To Farm Maple Wood
Primarily, maple wood exists in two locations: Yashiori Island and Ritou. As a 1-star material, maple wood is relatively easy to acquire. You can tell the maple wood tree from other trees in the game because of their characteristic red leaves, just as they appear in real life. Given the abundance of this tree, you are likely to spend a lot of time frequenting its spawn points to maximize its usage. Some of the best locations for finding maple woods include Ritou Village and Yashitori Island.

As with other trees, you can get three maple wood per tree. After obtaining wood from 11 other trees, you can also recollect this item, which means you don’t have to go to every location to farm this material. As for actual farming, it isn’t difficult. All you have to do is strike the tree with a sword or any other weapon. Striking the tree doesn’t make it fall or cease to exist, but it will produce the wood you want. When the tree can no longer supply you with extra wood, it will simply stop responding. When this happens, go to another tree or simply wait for a few minutes.
Like pretty much everything else in Genshin Impact, you can also obtain maple wood by crafting the stuff or trading it. The following is a list of some things that can be traded for maple wood:
- 3 Iron Chunk for 1 Maple Wood
- 2 White Iron Chunk for 1 Maple Wood
- 1 Crystal Chunk for 1 Maple Wood
- 1 Magical Crystal Chunk for 1 Maple Wood
- 1 Amethyst Lump for 1 Maple Wood
Genshin Impact is available on PC, IOS, Android, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 platforms.
