Fontaine is coming this August 16, and the excitement of fans is palpable. This will be a great time for fans of the game due to 4.0 bringing a new expansion full of characters and main quests. However, leaks say Fontaine might not last as long as previous nations. If the leaks are accurate, Fontaine might end in the 4.6 version of Genshin Impact. If this is true, it will be much shorter than other recent expansions for the game. This might be bittersweet, but nothing is set in stone until HoYoverse confirms it.
Genshin Impact Fontaine’s Arc Might End in Version 4.6
These leaks come from Blednaya, a well-known leaker and data miner in the Genshin Impact community. The information claims Fontaine will last until the 4.6 version of Genshin Impact, and then players will move on to Natlan. As mentioned, this confused many of the game’s fans as it meant Fontaine wouldn’t last as long as other nations, such as Inazuma or Sumeru. Yet, some are happy because this means the game will focus on creating new content faster instead of relying on many re-runs of previous characters.

Genshin Impact Leaks Show the Possible Banners for Version 4.1
If Fontaine does end during the 4.6 version of Genshin Impact, HoYoverse is clearly trying to make new content for their most famous game faster. This wouldn’t be a bad idea – many would love to experience other new nations and characters sooner. Yet, we’ll have to wait for official confirmation because Fontaine isn’t out yet. Hopefully, we’ll see more in the coming weeks, but for now, it’s time to get our Primogems ready for the debut of the Hydro Nation. The new banners and nation arrive on August 16 and will feature Lyney and Lynette, two of the new characters from Fontaine who already seem to have a mysterious background in this new region.
