A woman in Atlanta, Georgia, who was carrying a baby, was filmed standing behind a restaurant counter to get her own order after apparently becoming frustrated with the wait.
The video showed the woman behind the counter while carrying her baby and standing in front of trays of prepared fried chicken. Holding a pair of tongs in her other hand, she began placing pieces of chicken into a container to prepare her own order. One customer inside the restaurant reacted in disbelief, saying, “Oh my God.”
The person recording the video then said, “My girl fixing her own order,” while continuing to film the woman. As she continued taking fried chicken, the woman responded, “Yeah the [expletive] I am.” Based on the video, no employees appeared to intervene or attempt to stop her while she was behind the counter.
The woman then began cursing at the employees and said she was no longer willing to wait for her order. “Don’t give me my [expletive] [expletive] and I’mma take your [expletive] head,” she said. The video then showed an employee standing several feet away, watching as the woman continued putting her meal together.
Eventually, the woman finished packing her order and began leaving the kitchen area. Before exiting, she returned once more to direct profanity at the employee. At the end of the video, she walked out of the restaurant while the woman filming the incident could be heard laughing at what had just happened.
Viewers Shocked At Georgia Woman’s Behavior at Restaurant
The video sparked reactions online. Many viewers were left shocked by the Georgia woman’s actions, arguing that she was wrong to go behind the counter and prepare her own order. Some even called for her to face legal consequences. “She needs some jail time,” one person wrote. Another commenter disagreed, saying, “For what? For wanting the food she paid for with her own hard earned money? How about you take a look in the mirror and stop judging. How disgusting and disrespectful.”
More viewers criticized the woman’s actions. “This is extremely embarrassing! Not only is this illegal as hell but it is a major health violation. She’s not a paid employee nor does she have the proper attire on to be back there. Especially wearing flip-flops,” one person wrote. Others argued that the incident should not be treated as entertainment. “This is not funny at all,” another commenter wrote.
The video sparked a conversation about how some customers react when they become frustrated over long wait times for their orders. It also led to debate over whether delays ever justify customers going behind restaurant counters to retrieve or prepare their own food, with many arguing that doing so raises safety, health, and legal concerns.
