Georgia Women Drive Away After Trash Is Dumped in Street With Dumpster Allegedly 5 Steps Away: ‘This Disgusts Me to My Core’

They shouldn’t have done that

Two women in Georgia are facing backlash after surveillance footage appeared to capture one of them tossing a pile of trash onto the street before the pair drove away. What made viewers even more frustrated was how unnecessary the mess seemed, with the person who posted the video claiming a dumpster was only a few steps away.

The footage, shared by TikTok user @dannyaddsvalue, shows two women approaching a parked car in South Fulton. One opens the passenger-side door and begins pulling what appear to be food containers and other trash from inside, then tosses the items onto the street.

The second woman stands near the front of the vehicle as it happens. Neither appears to pick up the garbage before they get inside the car and drive away.

“Please stop littering,” the person who posted the footage wrote over the video. The caption asked, “Does anyone know who this is? South Fulton, 30349.” It remains unclear whether authorities have identified either woman or whether they reported the incident.

Georgia state law prohibits people from dumping, throwing, or leaving litter on public or private property without authorization. Violations can be prosecuted as misdemeanors, and courts can require convicted people to perform litter-removal work.

Viewers Can’t Believe the Mess

Viewers weren’t impressed by what they saw. “This disgusts me to my CORE,” one person wrote, while another responded, “That’s wild can’t lie.”

But the person who posted the footage revealed a detail that made the situation even more frustrating for commenters: “the craziest part is a dumpster is like 5 steps to the left.”

“This literally makes my blood boil. Humans are so [expletive] disgusting and selfish,” another viewer wrote.

Whether the women ever faced consequences for the mess remains unclear. But for viewers, the most baffling part may have been how easily it apparently could have been avoided. If the person who posted the footage is correct, the trash didn’t need to stay in the car. It just needed to make it about five more steps to the dumpster.
